Meccha Chameleon creates a tense skill challenge as players enter the arena and prepare their camouflage before the hunt starts. The Chameleon can move around the map, preview a hiding position, sample colors from nearby walls or objects, and paint the body to match the selected surface. A convincing disguise depends on more than color because positioning, pose, and surrounding details can reveal a hidden player. The placement system lets players preview a spot before committing, giving them a chance to find locations that naturally fit the environment. Once the hunter begins searching, staying still becomes crucial because unnecessary movement can expose an otherwise convincing disguise. Players can also change their pose to make the character resemble nearby objects more closely.
