Paper.io is a territory strategy game focused on expanding your colored area. Your character moves outside its zone to create new territory. A completed loop connects back to your area and fills the enclosed space. Rival players can threaten your expansion while competing for control. Expand carefully, attack at the right moment, and chase complete map control!
EXPAND YOUR TERRITORY AND OUTPLAY RIVALS
Paper.io places your character inside a colorful arena alongside competing players. Leaving your territory creates a trail that can form a new enclosed area. Returning safely to your zone completes the loop and expands your territory. Larger areas increase your presence and help you compete for map control. Rival trails create opportunities for strategic attacks during each encounter. Crossing an opponent's trail eliminates that player from the current game. Your own trail remains vulnerable while you travel outside your territory. Careful movement helps protect your exposed path from rival attacks. Additional objectives reward kills, survival outside your area, and territory growth. Some achievements also unlock skins and support longer progression.

Paper.io uses a one-button control system for simple and responsive movement. Hold the left mouse button and drag to guide your character across the arena. Plan each path carefully to claim more space while avoiding opponents
